Casciana Terme
Casciana Terme consists of a piece of territory that until 1927 was the southern town of Lari, formerly known at the time as Bath Water Baths and Casciana. The name Casciana is considered a compound of a person's name Cassius Latin, to take the meaning of "land of Cassio. The ancient texts mentioning the name of the Acqui at the end of the ninth century, for its thermal characteristics are well known. The village was called Heads of Casciana, referring to the town of Casciana, until 1956 when it assumed its current name.
